Chargrilled Beef with a Teryaki Glaze
Ready in 45 minutes | Serves 6
- 1 cup Kikoman teriyaki sauce
- 2 tablespoons Sweet Chilli
- 1 tablespoon Sweet Soy
- 1 tablespoon Mirin White Wine Vinegar
- pinch Salt
- 1/2 cup Honey
- Sesame Oil
- Eye Fillet of Beef
Heat all ingredients over a medium heat until combined, but don’t boil.
Pour a little sesame oil and kikoman teriyaki sauce over the meat and let marinate for 10 mins. Keep periodically massaging the marinade into the beef during the 10 mins.
On a hot chargrill or pan, sear your meat then place in a hot oven to finish cooking to the desired temperature. (about 10 mins).
Pour teriyaki glaze over meat and serve. Serve with a round mould of sushi rice with a little mirin poured over the top then heated in the microwave.
