Recipe by: GH Nutrition’s Mum, Melissa
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 20 minutes
1 medium size onion, finely diced
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1 medium size chilli, diced
1 425g tin of tuna in oil, I like to use Sienna
1 tin of cherry tomatoes
Large handful of basil and extra to serve on top
Good quality pasta, wholegrain
Add a generous splash of olive oil to a saucepan over medium heat.
Add onion, garlic and chilli and stir until the onion is slightly browned.
Add tuna, tomatoes and basil and mix to combine.
Let this rest for 15 minutes as the flavours really start to come together.
Meanwhile cook pasta.
Once pasta is cooked, drain and add with the tuna sauce.
Top with basil and a generous sprinkle of parmesan.
