FRUIT  

BANANAS  Exceptional value. 

CITRUS  Aussie navels in season. Good eating and juicing fruit. Really fabulous Imperial Mandarins in season. Lemons and limes good value. Fingerlimes still in season. Mandarins season has kicked in. Limes tightening up. Finger limes in season. 

KIWIFRUIT    Aussie gold and regular kiwifruit in season. 

EXOTIC  Quinces, soft and firm persimmons, Aussie pomegranates, custard apples. 

 GRAPES  Almost the end of the season for Aussie grapes. 

APPLES  & PEARS  All new season.  Pink ladies and Kanzis the pick. Pears all good. 

NUTS   Tassie walnuts in season. Super glam chestnuts in season. 

PINEAPPLES Tops on pines eating well.

 BERRIES Blueberries and strawberries still scarce. Blackberries available and reasonable value. Raspberries ok value and eating. 

VEGETABLES  

 ASPARAGUS  Imported only. 

AVOCADOES  Shepherds the pick but late season and limited availability. Hass starting to improve and Northern Queensland fruit starts.  

CAULIFLOWER     Big glamour caulis. 

GOOD VALUE  Sweet potato, pumpkin.

BEANS AND PEAS  Peas good value. Snowpeas and sugar snaps scarce. Borlotti beans available. 

TOMATOES Roma’s have tightened up. Good eating local glasshouse cherry and grape tomatoes. 

POTATOES  New season Tassie washed Dutch cream’s the pick. Don’t be fooled by the skin new season means thin skin as skin hasn’t had time to set this  can cause brown colour on skin but doesn’t impact on flavour or indicate freshness. 

CUCUMBERS  Cold has affected Leb cucumbers. Tele cucumbers holding up well. 

GARLIC    Aussie garlic ending soon.
